Verizon has just official announced the entry-level handset, called the LG Revere. The LG phone is a clamshell form factor and aimed for people looking to stay connected and simply wants to make calls and maybe send or receive text messages.
The simple flip phone of LG Revere is provides a 2-inch internal display with 176 x 220 resolution, and a 0.98-inch monochrome external display with a resolution of 96 x 64 pixel.
Verizon LG Revere also packs a 1.3-megapixel camera (up to 1280 x 960 resolutions for capture photos), and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. Like other modern phone, LG Revere is brings social networking feature that allows users update his/her status on social networks such as Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.
Dimensions of LG Revere are 3.78 x 1.95 x 0.72 inches and weighs 3.42 oz. Its 1000mAh battery is enabling up to 420 minutes of talk time, up to 630 hours of standby.
