Samsung Galaxy R smartphone gets official

Reportedly, Samsung has official announced its new smartphone, called the Samsung Galaxy R. It was known in Sweden last month as the Samsung Galaxy Z smartphone. In the UK, the handset was supposedly landed as the Samsung Galaxy R.
Running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, the Samsung Galaxy R is powered by a dual-core 1GHz Nvidia Tegra processor, 8GB internal memory expandable with microSD card (up to 32GB). The Galaxy R smartphone packs a 4.19-inch WVGA Super Clear LCD display, a rear 5MP AF camera with LED Flash and a front-facing 1.3MP camera, a 3.5mm ear jack, and stereo FM Radio with RDS.
In term of connectivity, Samsung Galaxy R is brings Bluetooth v3.0 + HS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi direct, and USB 2.0 HS.
Its Li-Ion 1650 mAh battery is enabling for up to 580 minutes of talk time, 550 hours of standby. The Samsung Galaxy R measures 66.7 x 125.7 x 9.55 mm and weight 131grams.
According to its press release, the Samsung GALAXY R is scheduled available from end of July in European market and followed by worldwide market including South East & West Asia, Middle East Asia, and China.
