Samsung Galaxy S II X as “Coming Soon”

There’s no denying it now… TELUS has finally confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S II X, otherwise known as the Hercules, will exclusively be available through them and is now officially “coming soon”. Yesterday we  posted that the go-to-market name would be the “X” and that the  “coming soon” is actually only a matter of “weeks”.

There’s still no word on price points but TELUS did confirm all the rumoured specs: Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung’s Touchwiz – plus Reader, Games, Music and Social Hubs, 1.5 Ghz Dual Core processor, 4.5-inch super AMOLED plus (800×480), Wi-Fi and the ability to create a Wi-Fi hotspot, 8 megapixel camera that captures full 1080p HD video, 2 megapixel front facing camera, 4G download speeds of up to 42 Mbps and showing that it only weighs 109 grams.
