Sharp has official announced a new smartphone, called the Sharp Aquos Phone SH-12C. Newly gadget is a monoblock form factor and runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS.
This Sharp Aquos Phone SH-12C is supports 3D content and has 3.2-megapixel front camera, two 8-megapixel rear-facing CMOS camera that can record 2D/3D 720p video format and also 3D still images.
It packs a 4.2-inch naked-eye 3D touchscreen display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels (qHD).
Heart of Sharp Aquos Phone SH-12C 3D smartphone is a 1.4GHz Qualcomm MSM8255 processor, 512MB of RAM, and built-in 2GB flash storage. The 3D smartphone is equipped with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, e-wallet function, HDMI, microSD card slot, infrared, digital TV tuner, and HSDPA. Dimensions of Sharp Aquos Phone SH-12C are 127 x 64 x 11.9-13.8 mm and weight 138 grams.
Sales of new Sharp Aquos Phone SH-12C smartphone in Japan will start on May 20th, 2011 but no word on pricing yet. It will come in two color options – black and white.
